Defer before moving on.
Deferring means you’ll do it later. People are always deferring things. Washing the dishes is a great thing to defer. But deferring your studies is something else altogether.

Gap years are for losers!
Just a few years ago, taking a year out before doing further study was simply thought of as dropping out. It wasn’t a recommended option. But these days, many people do it and career advisors might even suggest it!
